Putin hasn't been fully in control & his powers slipping for about a year. Certainly the last six months he has been floundering. What you get for not being a strong leader in russian politics & not delivering at least some of the 'goods'. LOL!! He may be a slippery little eel with good self preservation senses. But I doubt he will escape this one. It would be far better to have him alive at the Hague. But whatever gets Ukraine free fastest.

@thabomuso2575 OH!! LIsten to him lecturing everyone. Peaceful transfer of power in russia is laughable. If you haven't seen the NKVD/FSB killings in the past doesn't mean they don't happen. Many neighbors would breath easy if they did have civil war. The robbery & ethnic cleansing of the nation might stop. Who are these innocent russian civilians you speak of & how would you know without careful outside monitoring for years? As far as lecturing everyone this isn't a child's game . . . Here is kopek, little boy. Why don't you go take a bus ride & try to find someone that cares what your opinion is? I know that may be a long ride, but do try.

@foundationofthought You mistake having massive stores, a larger military to begin with, and catching a weak nation by surprise with being competent. The russian ministry of stolen toilets is a circus freak show. And no matter how much impotent putin sends out his circus freak show trolls, that won't change facts.
