Allowing it wasn't up to the US, UK, France, and a few others. It was over with too quickly & Ukraine didn't put up much of a fight. Many countries tried to sanction Russia but without widespread acceptance of sanctions, you might as well try to hold a tsunami back with a tea strainer. I'm not saying those speaking out on it were firm enough, it is a fact there wasn't much they can do.

@UkraineRussiaWar000 It might be time to reconsider something to replace the IOC. I will cut them some slack right now it is hard to maneuver a large bureaucracy. But depending on what they decide in the future. Don't forget the big 'flap' they had over displaying china with the south china sea. It was purely political & the IOC caved in on it. Don't know why they said the official graphic couldn't include Japan & Australia.

The war has been stuck in microscopic movements for sometime. Partly due to the mud. I think both sides are wanting to conserve what they have. Ukraine for the next offensive they launch & russia just so they will have some ammunition to fend off Ukrainian offensive. Time will tell.
