I have always thought that 2 batteries of HIMARS would be an appropriate first shipment. I was shocked when it was only 4. It isn't a good look for the US. What happens if Poland or one of the Baltic states are attacked? Will we be dragging our feet then? Making self destruct (fusible links) on sensitive systems on another 20 should be taking place right now. You might give your input on the appropriation of funds for training new Ukrainian pilots in the US. I know a small contingent has already started. F-16's or F-15's? My bet is on F-16's. Supposed to be easy on maintenance & repair is available in Poland.

@martijnstam6186 My point is would the US be so slow to respond? I don't think Putin is suicidal yet. But he is showing more signs every day.

@martijnstam6186 Which is all supplied slowly, with many conditions, almost grudgingly. I figured the F-16's. Which makes sense how slow those are coming.

@martijnstam6186 True. Major maintenance can be done in Poland but there would need to be ground personal.
