It might surprise some that opposing views have always been on state run TV in Russian. Normally one or two segments throughout the day. They were always talked down or ridiculed to the point of the camera just not panning to them. I liked a Russian Lt Colonel making the point of it taking years to build a ship or design a plane when everyone else was calling for new improved weapons to be made now. They couldn't argue with his logic (which stunned some of them at first) but they quickly shouted him down with rhetoric. Like rhetoric would make it all better. LOL!! I too watch the Russian side many times. And it isn't too brutal.
