With all the hype of hacked systems, the truth is a little hard to glean from the fiction. It isn't a non-problem in most of the world but it really isn't too much of a problem either. Many systems for infrastructure, financial, defense, etc are closed systems. NBC is notorious about 'story hype' and many other news services aren't much better. Depending on how Russia sets up it's new domestic internet (RUSNET) the opposite might be true. Certainly it is more fragile right now. If the Russian cyber security turns out to be as inept as it's military is, there could be a lot of Western influence & spying.
