@richardlellip.e.m.b.a.7969 While it is true many of the younger athletes may not have any thing like this. They must learn hard lessons in that you wear the stain. This way they work extra hard for it never to happen again. It has happened in all despotic wars unless it was a total dictatorship.

@richardlellip.e.m.b.a.7969 Having my preference they wouldn't be allowed. But the IOC has always been weak on stances. So if they go, then next best thing is to avoid any award ceremonies where they are present. Booing at events. Which I think would be really cruel for some of them. But no way to avoid it.

@vladk4626 Reverse your logic (what little there is) in a little though experiment. The US doesn't want russia to join BRICS. This is absolutely unacceptable to them. It is obvious putin is a bumbling weakling so the US invades russia when they pursue it. But they spank russia really hard until the Orcs sue for peace giving up part of their vast territory just to keep from being slaughtered . . . And the difference is?
