  2. It probably wasn't directed at us. It is an easy to understand way for the Orc soldier to know what is happening. It will probably play well at home. Of course, they could try the truth. But come on . . . Blyatistan wouldn't do that!!

  8. People doen't ask much because stupid little putin has vowed to wipe them all out. So even if they lose 90% to save the other 10, they are ahead of the game. If you absolutely have to have the numbers, some experts go as low as 40% of russian casualties. Some as high as 120% of russia's. Not including maybe 40k civilians. But since it really doesn't matter, I don't care about exact numbers.

  9.  @Ayns.L14A  There is a 'social contract' between the russian government & it's population since the accesses of Stalin. The government keeps everything stable & no surprises & the citizenry let's the government do whatever they want. They avert their eyes to keep the life they have come to enjoy. Bribery basically. This & other more base emotions come through centuries of conditioning. Any free thinkers of people of action, people of empathy, etc, had their bloodlines purged or throw to the gulag long ago. The cheerleading when their army kills thousands of innocent victims is harder to explain. And I have already said too much. Think 'social contract' when they say they are 'far from politics'.

  13. League . . . Close enough. The dream of Nations united to discuss like civilized people was ALWAYS just a glamor show for debate teams. It was never supposed to have real power & for a good reason. There are some extreme example like russo-Ukrainian war where you wish they did. But that is the way it is.
