Somehow this doesn't shock me about Wagner. Since they are known for cruelty beyond even the horrible things their regular forces are capable of.

It would certainly be normal human emotions to feel sorry for them. I personally don't. But I can understand why others would. About the former prisoners having a choice . . . I think it is presented that way. But there is little choice between going to Wagner or be found a few days later having committed 'suicide' in your cell.

@jorr1334 Early on protestors were taken right to the front. Not Wagner though. Later as you say, they were not coercers (just as you say) I watch Zolkin too. But there have been reports recently of more persuasion & I'm not about to remember all the links. If you don't believe me, fine. Some of these might start showing up on Zolkin later on. Rumors get around prisons too.
