A hole in the pressure hull of a submarine is serious business. A hole in a surface ship can be blocked & braced with only minor issues. Much damage at all to the sub will mean scrapping it. Just the pressure wave of the explosion can buckle it.

@@Softwaves-Canada Ukraine wants a bit more than just to go home. They wants their land, kidnapped people, POWs back & a pesky bully for a neighbor to leave them alone. Then they will happily go home. Having the moron putin tossed out of his high place (literally) would be a nice plus
