@allisonmarlow184 Wasn't it the Three Stooges that coined the phrase, 'If at first you don't succeed, keep on sucking 'til you do suck seed'? 🤣🤣🤣

@Kiev-in-3-days The very phrase '2nd army of the world' is in fact a russian one. It came admittedly after the US and probably most of Europe considered them the boogey men a few decades ago. But they absolutely called themselves that. The unique russian psyche is combination of pompous self importance mixed with a lot of doubt whether it is really true. Now, since the new amateur rocketry club formed in Kyiv, they find themselves the 3rd most powerful in Ukraine.

@Kiev-in-3-days When was what? Their self delusion or the joke I made at the end? If you mean thinking they have a powerful military, listen to the 1420 channel on YouTube. Not so much anymore, buy some still say they must carry the battle into Poland, Finland, where ever to continue their righteous war. Last summer it was quite common to hear that. Don't underestimate their powers of self-delusion.

@DarkAngelEU I can give some insight. Not sure about some myself really. A leader of the soviet/russian people must absolutely be powerful. They can mask over a lot of what Lord Farquaad does & even make much of it sound like a brilliant move. But they will not tolerate a loser. One reason they approved in 2020 him becoming 'President for Life' is it was seen as a strong leader move. When other countries seek help or consult with other countries, this is seen as weak. A russian would see the same problems & say 'If only we had the right leader'. Meaning a strong man to bring stability back to society. They will tolerate a great deal of bad things in life to have stability. As long as Chuckles the Tsar appears not too inept & doesn't lose the war, he will stay in power. Even the compliant russian population does have a breaking point of course.

@havenmist2216 So . . . You are thinking there will be children on the battlefield within 24 hours after they are put down? I'm not quite sure what your narrative is but it is way off.

See? I told you putin would figure this all out. He will just plug all the holes on his sinking ship with the injured. Chuckles the Tsar continues to be a master strategist. Or maybe that was master baiter down at Ralph's Fish-O-Rama . . . Anyway, he can plug a lot of holes with all his body-doubles.

I think months of this behavior in Bakhmut gives ample evidence slamming their collective heads into the wall will be SOP in Orc army. Chuckles the Tsar remains a master strategist. It also might be a macro trend for the russians if they escape this war with any capability intact. They will just try again in another 10 years or so. Maybe Ukraine or maybe Georgia. Or maybe they will have much better luck attacking the Baltics next time.

Reminiscent of the 'Black Knight of the Bridge' scene in Monty Python's Holy Grail. 'Tis but a scratch'

@protorhinocerator142 AHH!!! You beat me to the punchline. LOL!! Great minds! It is really the response of russian medical triage more than the soldier themselves.

You think the guy in Mariupol was really Chuckles the Tsar? He won't even let his most trusted people within 10 meters in his own bunker unless they are heavily vetted. And even then only for the rare photo op. So how likely is it Wrongway putin would be bumping elbows & schmoozing with the locals in Mariupol?

@havenmist2216 They will be inert by the time children get there. Unless you think the russians are recruiting toddlers now. Those slackers in russia!! Children really should be pulling their own weight more.

@TheCroupier74 Ahhh . . . The crafty devils! Luring us all into a false sense of security by losing so clumsily. I can see it all now. Maybe they will bring out a sea of T-14s & SU-57s when someone knocks on the Kremlin doors with a warrant!!

@Edzhjus I'm trying to think of a US analog to russia getting an ass whooping in the first Chechyan war 🤔 I got nothin. They would have gotten a 2nd ass whooping in the 2nd war with them if Kadyrov (the senior not 6-second Ramzen) hadn't turned traitor. A country completely surrounded by russia!! I can think of no US analog to being fought to a standstill in tiny Georgia that also had no outside help. Studying the bungled consolidation wars of the mid 90's we should really have seen this coming in Ukraine. To compare russia as a competent fight force with any NATO country & say they would bungle it, is folly. They did roll over Dagestan but not much info came out so I'm not sure how easily.
