There are many more surprises the F-16 will bring than just down helicopters at longer range. Teasing out air defenses to give away their positions to be taken out. Long range anti ship strikes. And many others. It isn't the airframe itself so much as the weapons packages that will start being used. Oh well . . . I'm sure pocket size putin isn't worried. His Su-57's will save the day

I think we are looking at stepping back from WW3. It has been shown putin couldn't launch a canoe in his backyard pool. He would be arrested about 2 minutes after giving an order for nukes. The power circles in the kremlin would never let him get that far. Very unlikely also for a field nukes as well. He does have other means for what some see as worse than nukes.

@icexvi2573 There are different levels of fighting in the air. They even publish 2 for public consumption. Air superiority & air dominance. I would even say a few levels below dominance will be very bad for the Orcs. They will just stop coming to the party. The do NOT have to gain air superiority to make the battle very hard for 'numbty nuts' putin. It is simply a matter of how hyped to get about it.
