So Avdiivka was just a feint by the russians? Oh those cleaver Orcs. But to be a feint, wouldn't that require them to be attacking massively elsewhere before they disengage at Avdiivka? Probably nit-picking here, huh? LOL!!

@militarized_monk755 Already Skabeyeva & Solovyov are rubbing their hands together seeing disarray in Congress. They have even hinted at russia making entreaties to the Republican party to help them complete what they need. As a conservative I know I won't be voting red this time around. Depends on what happens after next election.

@ThousandCuts-tb2ej The argument they are still behind support for Ukraine while withholding it is empty. The Republicans do indeed talk about puny support for Ukraine from now on. If they allow aid at all. Walks like a duck, swims like a duck, craps like a duck . . .

@beachbum77979 There used to be extremist in both parties. RFK Jr. became independent. I don't like to beat up on conservatives. I'm one myself in many ways. But there is little doubt even moderates in the party have turned their backs on Ukraine. Frame it like you want . . . When they get what they want the will be firmly behind UA again. But this is NOT a good look for Reps. And russian media is thanking them continually.

@nerdyali4154 Biden still proposes weak, drip-feed support so Dems aren't the ideal answer either. But they seem to be firmly behind Ukraine & not trying to tie up the issue as a bargaining chip. It would be great to have instead of Blue vs Red, a Yellow party that voted according to what is right & wrong. Not play any political games. But the US doesn't.
