  2. Been a few times long before this war. But there were normal people even in the provinces. Too long an answer to illustrate. But there was a small percentage that were non-warlike, honest people. Over the centuries their has been selective breeding (Eugenics?) where free thinkers were thrown into gulags. And what remains readily accepts their social contract with strong man leaders. So a few russian men remain.
