@jawadad73 Their teetering population pyramid now would say otherwise. Losing 30 million to kill 3 million in a war where the winter is what really stopped Germany, isn't a workable situation. BTW, the effects of the lose of so many in WW2 does still ripple thru their population statistics. The russian population was 100 mil in 1930. So it has grown 40%. Much slower that other developed countries. Germany has grown 77%. With many caveats.

@fabb5 What they have been doing lately (not 200 years ago) would make any russian strategist from the past, deeply ashamed. And to do it so the dim wit putin can announce victory along with announcing he will run for president, will label him a one of the worst despots in all history.

@Ebb0Productions You think too much like a Westerner. In the Orc way of thinking, they have loads of 'undesirables' to get rid of & more they want more land. It is a win-win situation. Tuva has now been denuded of it's adult male population. Buryatia is almost getting that way. These are ethnics that putin wasn't happy with anyhow. Most countries would want an expanding population with expanding territory. Not putin. LOL!!
