And if they get signals intelligence about a lot of cel phone traffic in an area, they may have actually thought they were hitting one this time. It would probably benefit UA to educate the public about publishing funeral details, and making a lot of phone calls so close to the front.

Hate to tell ya . . . Take the treatment of Baghdad Bob recently. Same job but he wasn't even prosecuted. For us demitry's comments are disgusting. For him, he only knows the crap that is shoveled to him. Remember his 'No new mobilization' comment a few days before the mass mobilization? I really don't think he is aware of much.

@ahndeux The US stays in perpetual debt no matter what the situation. Donations of military aid cost them nothing in fact except for transportation. It would cost us more to keep them in fact. We would have to pay for storage & upkeep. We do need to stop spending but this is the wrong program. You pay a little now or a lot later.

@3xceIIent That is not how lend lease works. Equipment given for use is written off if destroyed. It is only after the war that still working equipment is billed if they decide to keep it. If they return that, then literally nothing is owed. It is a great way for UA to try out some of the newest toys. And they will probably decided to keep some.

Declining ruble, increasing inflation, conserative estimate of 2 mil fled the country, new repressive laws, medicines disappeared, men hiding from conscription teams, transportation headed to ox carts . . . NO . . . Not on the scale of the two invasions you gave as examples. The AFU already has multiple fronts open & they don't face a million man army beating them back. A small landing would be very hard to keep supplied. But could be useful later on.

@michasunafish4844 Many Orc trolls get their comments reported to YouTube & they are deleted. It only takes 3 or 4 people reporting them as misinformation. If you don't know how it works, just click on the three dots out to the right side of the comment. You can't do it by yourself, it would take a few others. But it happens all the time.

Wanting nothing to do with putin's blunder & to get out from under sanctions, I think you will be surprised how compliant the russians are. Once the populace find out the truth, it will be demanded. Just like in 1991 you refer to. Nukes or any other weapons will never come into play. If the new monster-to-be in the kremlin threatens nukes, he will have the FSB arrest him in about 2 minutes. They will have had enough of that. The order will never reach the silos even now. There is a doomsday scenario which may come true post mortem, making part of your prediction come true. But not from nukes.
