But they are quite serious about puffing their chests out to make themselves look big & bad. But there is also a strong element of self doubt too. It is an interesting dynamic. You would be surprised how insecure russians are about their place in the world. Internal refugees in russia? Do whatever video you like.

  5. Hi Anna. We are made aware of the deportations & some families being split apart. Some children being adopted out to russian families so the most recent stories while shocking, really should come as no surprise. It may come as a big shock to the russians when demands for the return of all those deported are a part of any peace deal. Time will tell.

  8. Hi Anna from Ukraine!! Very few 'pests' today too. It would seem a simple thing for a country to at least send in troops to guard the northern border & let those UA forces be moved South & East. At least talk it up so Pootie is in doubt what will be done. Many in the West have bad experience helping others so it will probably just be talk. But many of us are all for this limited action.

No AIM-120. They aren't letting those out of country yet. But a whole lot of the inventory is available. I don't want to rain on your parade, but Kerch may be low on the list. Or maybe they take out the railway bridge but leave the road bridge alone.

It is the most passive way to help I know. It doesn't require catching Orc comments early & down voting them but that would help also. Stay strong for Ukraine!!

  18. A surprising number of war time leaders actually do rise to the occasion. I would say Zelenskiy is exceptionally good at it. Ukraine beating up on Orclandia is the bargain of the century for the rest of the world. The little bit of help we give is giving back many times over. Not to mention saving out own citizen's lives in a war we would have to fight anyway sometime in the future. There are so many benefits, talking about how much it costs is short sighted in the extreme.

But any ruthless dictator there is already setting up the occupied territories to become a thorny issue for Ukraine if they ever take those lands back from them. Or even worse. Crimea could become Ukraine 'Northern Ireland' unless you take great care.

  34. I see you got a boost in Subs. 🙂I would like to ask you what your thoughts are about how Ukraine is planning to 'win the peace' once they win the war. In 3 months, a year or two. It is coming. Many well meaning volunteers & companies will descend on Ukraine to help rebuild. It could be a golden age there. But sympathies will swing to poor old Russia still under the yoke of sanctions. Many very unpopular decision will need to be made by the Ukraine government which will lose even more support. Just tell what your feelings are about it.

I have joked in the past we would be lucky if trump didn't send aid to russia if he was president. US politicians say things when campaigning that they wind up reversing their position if they are elected. Things might be better than they look now & the election isn't decided anyway. 🦝

  44. Hi Anna from Ukraine. I personally believe Ukraine should be given more than they ask for. But I will put forward a theory that we may not know everything. Your partners nations are too well coordinated in this effort 'to just give UA enough' for this to be an accident. I think it is money driven but what if there was some agents of destruction already in Ukraine ready to unleash much more Hell than before? Not nuclear btw. What if these agents were in other countries & could have devastating effect if putin is deposed? International intelligence might know a lot more than they are telling us. My whole argument against this theory is putin will pull the plug at some point anyway. Whether he is assassinated or deposed. What I am saying is there might be a reason for all these restrictions that would bring more meaning to these games being played . . . Besides money which I still think is the main reason. Just a thought

  45. I have been in a couple of Khrushchyovkas but not long enough for the atmosphere to really sink in. I do remember the sorry excuse for a water heater. Going some where in the morning you would have to get up an hour earlier just to heat the water. Or just bath at night. No automatic flame at all.
