Yes, they are ridiculously cute & can be domesticated easily. Don't dare try it unless you want the plaster torn off the walls all the time & holes in your roof. Raccoons loose in Ukraine would be an ecological disaster. Don't think about one for a pet. They are little thieves too.   4. You know, I think I have enough comedic material to write a story of the 'The Emperor's New Empire'. A little like the children's story 'The Emperor's New Clothes'. But this would in in alliteration style. Since your are a professor of linguistics, would this style be lost on a foreign audience if they don't speak English?
