  1. The newscaster is a bit off. Probably 45 to 60 of those troops are a marine detachment to guard the embassy in Kyiv. Making a story out of a mole hill. LOL!! I'm a bit surprised at DW which is normally beyond sensationalizing stories. Whatever troops are not in such a detachment are liaisons to NATO & advisors. There is probably little in the way of training. They might be some 'training the trainers'. A case where there is much ado about nothing.
