  1. Yakov Smirnoff had a joke about the USSR. 'Russians don't go looking for a party, the party comes looking for you'. Very funny of course but it could be applied to 'If you aren't interested in Politics. The Politics will just come to rule over you'. Have a say in who rules over your life. As far removed as you try to make yourself from your country, you are it's product & your country is a product of it's people.
