  5. Do they need more help? Yes, and in a more timely manner. Not like the US has been 'drip-feeding' them weapons in the past. Pulling support from Ukraine would have devastating effects on our other allies. Imagine Taiwan, Japan, Estonia, Australia, etc seeing grudging aid being supplied for maybe a year & a half. Then we fold tents because we got bored? Wanna stop hamas? Stop it's suppliers in russia. Stop the domestic terrorism about to happen in the US? Same thing.

  6. As Hodges said it was the administration too that has been dragging their feet. This is an effort by both parties but some fringe right publicans have been pulling more than their own weight. Which should probably should have some of their finances looked into to find where all this support for russia comes from. But both parties are not committed to this.

  13. Politicians do say one thing campaigning and quite another once in office. But we really only have what Trump says right now. 'I will end the Ukraine war in one day'. There is almost no good message what this might mean for Ukraine. Of course Trump is full of bombast & has no control over what Ukraine does. In no way short of nukes would Trump end this in one day. I will give your expert Trump may surprise us, but I wouldn't chance it.

If your command is decent you will receive enough for some to send home. The rest to buy vodka. In most units the commanders will skim payroll & the soldiers hardly get anything. Many require bribes for choice duties where you won't be killed in the first few days.

  29. When putin was told he would have to give up the presidency in 2008 due to term limits, he saw it as a betrayal of the russian people. His route to paranoia & probable psychopathy began there. Since his re-election in 2012 he has been enacting ever restrictive laws to reign in the russian rabble. As much as Andei may have known about him before, unless he studied him after 2012, he may not understand the full psyche.
