  1. You need to listen to some intercepted calls back to home & POW interviews, Anita. Apparently none are being paid what they are promised. If your command is decent you will receive enough for some to send home. The rest to buy vodka. In most units the commanders will skim payroll & the soldiers hardly get anything. Many require bribes for choice duties where you won't be killed in the first few days.
