  1. India would be far better off with an indigenous weapon system. If their tank turn out to be good, there will be a huge marker for them from countries no wanting the russian junk. Right now Ukraine would dearly love a light NATO tank. But NATO only has heavy one that are far too heavy for the roads/bridges of Ukraine. The medium tanks of their enemy is the only thing available. India should probably hurry. I can see Ukraine producing masses of lighter tanks & they may be quite good.
