  1. The US component of Baskin-Robbins is out of russia entirely. It is the new owners (old lessee) that are seeking the new name BRandIce. I don't think anyone would pursue copywrite laws now so you would think they would happily (but illegally) keep the original name. Maybe to clear themselves if copywrite enforcement does come back someday.
