  2. Hi Anna from Ukraine!! Very few 'pests' today too. It would seem a simple thing for a country to at least send in troops to guard the northern border & let those UA forces be moved South & East. At least talk it up so Pootie is in doubt what will be done. Many in the West have bad experience helping others so it will probably just be talk. But many of us are all for this limited action.

  5. Hi Anna from Ukraine. The badly kept secret is out. F-16's have been there for a while. Doing prep work. The real question is now, what sort of weapon's packages will they come with. No AIM-120. They aren't letting those out of country yet. But a whole lot of the inventory is available. I don't want to rain on your parade, but Kerch may be low on the list. Or maybe they take out the railway bridge but leave the road bridge alone.

  6. I'm just a plain talking guy. So all the 'diplomatic speak' sounds like children on the playground arguing how the game should be played. 'Well, I'm not giving them tanks until you give them tanks.'. 'Well I'm not giving them tanks first.'. It is so simple: you choose whether to help Ukraine or not. No hard feelings if you don't but you may be judged later by the world community or your own voters. What kills me is those that commit to help & don't carry through. Saying they see it as a fight between good & evil or they see it as a war of genocide but stall at every turn. They make pretty speeches but have no substance of spirit to back it up with.

  11. The state media in russia made a huge mistake in showing Medvedev touring a tank factory a few months ago. They showed him walking along a line of T-62 being built. Realizing the mistake they immediately showed putin touring a factory with much newer equipment. This may have been an assembly plant, but it did have the look of a warehouse where they parked some cherry picked equipment. The earlier video was definitely an assembly plant. Some stories are circulating that a stripped down version of the T-64 is all they can manage. Which isn't something to be ignored, but no match for even 40 year old Western technology.

  19. Some people have no sense Georgi. They look for almost any bit of news to run around like 'Chicken Little'. Because of this, I hate to put this out there. But I do want to tell you that the nukes aren't the problem either. It is the biological threat that keep the West 'drip feeding' weapons to Ukraine. It doesn't take a high tech delivery system to snap a vile inside a lab even in russia. As far as we know, there could be russian agents or sympathizers with a refrigerator of toxic stuff in Ukraine, Germany, Canada, etc, etc. We have just gotten out of a 3 year period that was a nightmare of a rather low level virus probably created by the Chinese. As putin gets more desperate to use nukes his power in the kremlin to do so slips away. Even with tactical nukes. It is colonies of tiny living or semi living things we need to worry about.

  21. These wars have been going on about 30 years now. The Orcs have always had a choice. Now they are heavily repressed it would be harder. But not impossible to refuse. Even before the 'New' russia these wars of aggression have raged on. And the russians pretend to be helpless bits of flotsam on a sea of political will. It is time they took responsibility for creating this mess. These helpless young men would be sitting at home cheering on the mighty russian army in it's slaughter of Ukraine.

  25. It would be great if the people of rural Russia were waking up to so few soldiers are from Moscow & St. Petersburg. Unfortunately, Anna only a very few of the 'country folk' know about it. Hopefully the knowledge will spread. I think the Federation can & should break up. I think it can be done much like the USSR in 1991. But there is a way that could go VERY wrong too.

  32. Belarusian boots not in Ukraine or course does not mean Lukashenko isn't every bit as complicit as Putin. I suspect their is no open hostilities with Belarus because they are a little bit busy right now. Zelensky is wise not to endorse an opposition group in Belarus because this might be someone looking for Western support. Not that they would be any better at governing.
