  12. Don't rely on the reverse camera apart from when you're having to reverse within inches of an object. Else you'll find yourself nearly unable to reverse a car without one. You'll be surprised how quickly one forget this. As a rule I only use mine to check if i'm parallel with the slot and to know when i'm about to hit an obstacle. my previous car had sonar for this, which was super useful.

The concept of performance wagons was still just that to me, a concept. These cars are amazing, and you need one of these in your stable, before prices skyrocket.

  24. That engine sounds so good! I would love to see you toss the car around some curves in a canyon pass. The amount of power it has appears to be perfect to not feel slow, yet allow 8/10ths driving while being relatively within the law.

  32. For me therapy drives are easiest in the city. And I go out at late night, past 11pm when most of downtown and the dock area is empty. I take a camera with me as well, and usually stop at a late night canteen like shop for a cup of tea and a cigarette. I usually cover between 20 and 30kms, and drive pretty slow.

  34. So I owned an Echo based sedan, called the Toyota Vios, Thai car. It had the same engine, but I managed to find a manual. Very fun car, 4 wheel disc brakes, but no heater.

  36. I have always been a fan of the 3.0, although the US did get the short end of the stick with that because it makes less power than the Euro version. Also, is that EQ standard on that radio?

  44. The display is actually vacuum fluorescent, not LCD. They have much better contrast and readability compared to LCDs. I believe the third gen Prii, along with the C and V were the last of production cars to ever feature a VFD for the main instrument cluster.
