  1. Don't rely on the reverse camera apart from when you're having to reverse within inches of an object. Else you'll find yourself nearly unable to reverse a car without one. You'll be surprised how quickly one forget this. As a rule I only use mine to check if i'm parallel with the slot and to know when i'm about to hit an obstacle. my previous car had sonar for this, which was super useful.
