Brexit hitting Canada and the USA what
1
Well now we can see who the think Brits are you don’t vote for pm In the uk I’m a foreigner and even I know they I take it your on benefits or work 16hrs for my tax money. Really they should just kick Brits like you out.
1
Maybe getting so many people off bens 55% of the population are taking out more than they pay in.
1
Funny the highest rate why the uk was in the eu was 18% lol. It can keep going up great for us savers.
1
@terrancedactielle5460 no need I have a job and can afford to save can you and you are one of the poor crying over this. If your so good at English why are you so poor? Maybe concentrate on getting a job than someone else’s English. Hey then you won’t be suffering.
1
Atleast you can see it’s working remainers why do you go to Ireland and seek asylum lol
1
@deanlowdon8381 if you want to pay more tax visit HMRC there is a voluntary tax payment if you really want to Pay more go there. I bet you 100 pound you won’t using the rich is an excuse they pay far more than you ever will.
1
@deanlowdon8381 it would prove you want to pay more tax and would help with things like the nhs. People like you are all talk.
1
@deanlowdon8381 if everyone did it it would. That’s the issue Brits want a decent healthcare but they really don’t want to pay for it and you prove that you talk a good talk. But not one of you wants to pay.
1
@deanlowdon8381 isn’t it funny how people always go on about Amazon yet still use them hey. Again shows how Brits are hypocrites. Use the company that pays no tax while asking the government to tax them more. Have you heard of the high street shops that pay tax and employ workers that pay tax too. Maybe time to boycott Amazon.
1
@deanlowdon8381 every one needs to, people who complain about companies like Amazon and use them should not complain. I would rather go without that use Amazon. I pay my tax in the uk and I pay for visas and the nhs surcharge. While I’m in the uk I will buy locally. What I see from Brits though is especially the ones who are not paye will do anything to avoid paying tax but will still complain about the nhs being underfunded and the rail ways. This to me is crazy the other thing I see is the other side, the people who pay little to no tax getting everything free and still complaining then blaming everything on the rich. When the rich already pay 50% of all tax paid in the uk. It really is time for the avg person to pick up here and pay in. Despite the reduction in the additional rate from 50% to 45% in April 2013, the share of total Income Tax liabilities accounted for by the top 1% of taxpayers by income rose from 25.1% (£39bn of £157bn total) in 2012-13 to 28.3% (£71bn of £251bn total) in 2022-23.
1
@deanlowdon8381 people really need to understand that the nhs does not come for free as an American living in the uk I envy the nhs and really don’t want you to lose it but you will at this rate as it’s always someone else fault in the uk or the gov at the time.
1
@deanlowdon8381 that few pounds from each person amounts to billions of tax. If everyone thought like you.
1
@deanlowdon8381 have a think about that when you next buy from a big company that does not pay tax.
1
The same people want to be in the eu with mass migration cannot make it up.
1
I’m being paid a good wage in the uk. The issue with most people in the uk they would rather get minimum wage and the government to top them up than look for a decent job. They complain to the government to top them up more rather than look for a decent job or ask their company to top them up.
1
@prophetsnake why would they want Brits they know Brits what the government to top them up.
1
@proletvladimirova828 why have you not left then. Isn’t it funny people keep saying they want to leave yet not one has gone. I live here and make the best of it. The grass is always greener on the other side
1
Bad is your lazy and rely on the tax payer for everything. The rest of us are ok. The issue in the uk people have become far to lazy.
1
they should of thought to live within their means people need to understand rates go up as well as down.
1
@Craig121000 so rates never went up or down when the uk was in the eu then
1
@Craig121000 please tell me did rates not go up or down when the uk was in the eu
1
@jamesharrison2763 labour gave me nothing either, also it was Labour who sold most of the nhs to pfi. There won’t be a pension when I retire so I am investing in my work placed pension. So really not sure it matters to much who is in power. Tax goes now mainly to the people on low incomes and people like me get nothing back so I’m glad to get something back I’m not kidding myself I know tax will go up it will always be used to pay for the low income people topping up companies and allowing them to pay less. As why pay more when it’s the nasty tories who top you up.
1
simple answer get a job 750k people can come here on 2k a pop visas and the nhs surcharge and can work and afford it why cant you
1
@WookiRahh you have had 5 elections in 12 years you had ample opportunity to vote them out. Stop this nonsense, if you don’t vote you get no voice.
1
@morganangel340 I can’t vote I just want the gold
1
@maxdc988 need to think about it in the rest of the world not the uk. Good job people like me can leave once we have our money your all stuck here.
1
@colinsmith1288 yet they would rather stay on benefits than work hey as I have said I work in an advanced industry the average pay in my industry is 80k yet not hired one Brit in the 6 years I have been working in the uk. Why is that because your all lazy and complain all the time say your worse off on bens yet won’t work.
1
@colinsmith1288 that’s not true either the issue is the uni grads in the uk do degrees that cannot be used they choose Mickey Mouse degrees that will not give them jobs.
1
@colinsmith1288 the issue with the uk is you gave generations on benefits, generations that blame everyone else rather than themselves. You don’t have this in asia because there are no benefit systems like here you work or you get nothing people here are too used to handouts and blaming the rich for their issues.
1
@colinsmith1288 yep it was but it was only in 2000 you started paying people out of tax payers money to work. The benefits system should be there for the disabled, pensions and people who lose work through no fault of their own just like every other country in the world not for people to choose to work 16hrs so they get more money than working.
1
@daiu48 don’t move to one of these areas then if you don’t want to live in an elitist area, that works both ways for tories and labour. Why move to a Tory area if you don’t want to vote Tory.
1
@colinsmith1288 so they move for better schools then vote in labour to get worse schools can’t make it up.
1
Funny as it seems the eu is doing far worse than the uk looks like brexit is affecting the eu far worse. United Kingdom 0 -0.2 Italy -0.1 0.5 Turkey -0.1 1.9 Finland -0.2 -0.3 Czech Republic -0.3 -0.2 Croatia -0.4 1.5 Germany -0.4 0.5 Hungary -0.4 -0.7 Greece -0.5 0.6 Iceland -0.5 3.7 Sweden -0.6 0.6 Austria -0.7 0.2 Serbia -0.7 1.2 Lithuania -1.7 1.6 Estonia -1.8 -1.3 Poland -2.4 1 Moldova -8.4 -2.8
1
@jamescaley9942 well the left don’t care about the poor they just say they do and the poor are too thick to stop voting red. The tories have become red as if they don’t the poor hate them and the poor hate them anyway. It’s a no win situation.
1
Damn that brexit hurting the world
1
Funny how the remainers are the real xenophobic people cannot stand migration unless it’s from the eu. I would take these people over the eu, they pay for visas and the nhs surcharge eu people pay nothing and get minimum wage and in work bens. These people are not entitled to bens.
1
Damn brexit hitting oz
1
@markwilkie3677 since then last time I looked the world had covid lol and Brits got even more lazy hence why you need people like me here on visas. The thing is in the USA where I am from we don’t have the benefits you have people have to work. This isuse with thick Brits like you is you don’t work and blame everyone else for your issues. Maybe get out and get a job.
1
@markwilkie3677 maybe if lazy Brits got off their butts and worked it might. But you all want benefits and to blame the government for your issues rather than work.
1
@gswiftgs23 that is what has happened with all currencies since the gold standard. Have you not seen how much the pound / dollar/ yen has fallen since then.
1
@gswiftgs23 really that’s funny we seem to be doing ok in it the only people who are not are the lazy Brits. I moved 6 years ago and never done so well. Bought a home in 3 years of being in the uk. Saving more than ever and now the rates are going up getting more interest than ever got the highest pay rise I have ever had the last two years and the first time this year where my pay rise was above inflation.
1
@JohnnyWitney people in the uk cry about them that is why when the uk tried to put them in recently they complained and said they want to lock them in until they die. In Japan they think nothing of 40 year home loans: it’s the uk people who are dumb that is why.
1
maybe if brits got jobs you would not need these people
1
Don’t worry labour will be in soon to rob working people more to pay for the ones who don’t work.
1
Do the tories rule the world have you seen the world lately
1
@lukemorgan6166 same thing happened under 12 years of labour. Just they gave 1.2 trillion to the banks, the tories gave it to the people in the form of forlough eat out to help out. Free covid tests and injections . They would of been better just doing a labour and giving it to the banks lol as the people don’t seem to want it.
1
@luminousfractal420 that’s funny it seems like the likes of corbyn are more on putins side than boris and the tories. If the tories loved putin why are they helping Ukraine while the left are trying to help putin.
1
Funny it was you labour voters who bailed out the banks last time
1
No need to worry labour will be in soon might as well give them 20% and let labour worry
