  10. Maybe if you got off benefits and worked things might be better for you. I have no issues in the uk been here 8 years and things have never been better. Now there are skills shortages wages going up. Almost paid off my 25 year morgage in 5 years of having it. Things are great thank you Brexit.

  15. I could not vote in the election. As I’m a foreigner but I think the uk did the right thing of leaving the eu. Ever since I have been in the uk I have found remainers far more racist than brexiteers. Remainers seem to only like white people from the eu. They seem to hate all of us foreigners coming here on visas. All because they lost their fom. The uk really has shown it can still trade outside of the eu as much as remainers seem to hate this the uk is now 4th in the world for exports, inflation is the same as Ireland which is in the eu. Yet they seek to hate that inflation is the same as a eu country and it’s all Brexit.

  28.  @susannehartl3067  only ones I have met seem to be lazy unskilled and seeking minimum wage. In Japan I met the smart people from the eu. The ones smart enough to get visas. Issue in the uk they seem to be the ones who just want to work low skilled jobs. In Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore eu people work in banks and offices and contribute do not get benefits. I thought they were all hard working then I came to England and they are all on minimum wage and benefits. Totally changed my mind on eu people. It made me understand why the British wanted to leave the eu. To me people need to move through skilled labour not just because they can.

  29.  @susannehartl3067  I have been in the uk now for 8 years seen for my self.as I said the ones who have moved on visas are not lazy. It’s the ones who come because they can. To me you should only be able to move if you have something to offer.

  40.  @SailingCloseToTheWind  don’t know snapshot these periods as I was not in the uk all I know is the wage periods I have been in the uk from 2015 to present and I was not given one pay rise above inflation until 2019. Since then I have had all pay rises above inflation and the last two were 8% and 6% respectively. I will enjoy my 700 quid back thank you. But I don’t really mind paying tax as long as we get decent services, I do read alot of peoples comments and they all cry about paying more tax, many on uc get more back in benefits than they pay in tax but always want more back and want only a few people to pay for them. This is not sustainable. To me I don’t care who is in power tories or Labour or libdems as long as the uk gets the Services and they work. At the moment they don’t work so I’m glad to get my tax back. One thing I do find good though the nhs people complain about it but I don’t see any issues in the USA I would pay a fortune to wait in a queue and get worse services than in the uk I just had a hip replacement and paid 0 for it had no waiting for my op was in hospital for 10 days and got 2 sessions of physio a week free and all the equipment to kit out my home. To me I would much rather my hard earned money went to the nhs to make it better than some chav on 16hrs so they don’t lose their benefits in the cut.

  41.  @SailingCloseToTheWind  the issue is these people expect the nasty tories to give them more money not their company’s also why would their companies pay them more when they ask the nasty tories to pay them more and not their companies. It’s time to end in work benefits and make the companies pay more the uk is the only country in the world that tops its working people up. Benefits to me should be for the disabled and people looking for work not people in work. If you look at the years before in work benefits came in that is when the uk got decent pay rises. Since in work bens the uk is going down. As companies now can take more profits as they don’t need to pay a decent wage. Which again leads back to no one asks their companies for a rise they ask the nasty tories aka the tax payer. It will be the same when the nasty tories are out and labour are in they won’t ask their companies for a rise they will ask Labour the only different is probably Labour will pay them more money the issue will come with how it’s paid. So there are two ways it can be paid for higher taxes or borrowing we all know we cannot borrow anymore as look what happened with truss. You borrow with high inflation rates go up you spook the market so that means higher taxes. To me really they need to go back to the companies and say sorry no more are we paying it’s time for you to have less profits and you to pay. If they say no then tax that money from the profits and use that to pay people more. As I said I want my hard earned money to go the nhs and the disabled not people on minimum wage.

  42.  @SailingCloseToTheWind  that’s not Tory Britian when I finished school I had two jobs actually 3 jobs at one time that is reality and I left school in 1993. People have just got used to everything being paid for them. I started working at 15 as I did not pass any qualifications. When I finished school benefits were for people looking for work not people in work. Benefits were hard to claim and you could only claim for a small period of time. You blame the tories for everything I see. But I don’t think it was much different under labour etc. I remember in the 80s and 70s all the strikes under Labour reading about the 3 day week and the power cuts etc.

  43.  @SailingCloseToTheWind  to me I would rather my money go to the nurses and drs then benefits bill in the uk is 209 billion the nhs only gets 219 billion I would much rather the tax money go to the nurses and drs than someone working 16hrs and making the same on benefits as someone working 40hrs. This system to me is not right it’s time to end it. Why do you think someone working 16hrs should get the same as someone working 40hrs.
