funny how there are studys that prove other wise. if you look hard enough you can find a study to prove what even you need. My experience is like this. Nutritionally as all caffeine is the direct adverserry of nearly every vitamin and mineral, meaning that you should wait for at least 4 hours after eating to allow your body to absorb them first. Even then just drinking it causes the body (in layman's terms) to use the caffeine before the vitamins for energy. thus reducing your nutrient intake and causing you body to be less efficient at absorbing. if you eat food and then wash it down with said tea or coffee you inhibit your bodies ability to absord the nutrients from the food. Those that drink a lot of tea and coffee will naturally be lower in energy than those that do not and eat the same diet. I stopped all tea and coffee and ate 70% raw fruit and veg for 2 years and had never had more energy, then I was at a friends place and I had a coffee and thus the downward spiral began. I started drinking coffee in the morning again and very soon I could not keep up at work, even tho my food intake had not changed. One cup every so often is amazing for you but drinking it daily like people do... shrug read the study you want to believe in and run with it.

I use celtic sea or Himalayan pink as they are the highest in minerals.
