I was born and brought up in India to English parents and I’ve spent over half of my life so 20+ years there. It’s so difficult for me to get my OCI/PIO that even after many years of trying and many thousands in baksheesh I still don’t have either. I don’t have a problem with this because I am after all white even though I love India that’s nothing more than my love for India, I don’t expect India to love me back. I totally respect that India is India and that’s why I love it. We are here in England and in the Western General allow anybody to come in and do as they please even so much so that streets in and around our capital are full of residents that don’t even speak English.. It saddens me more than anything that cultures get lost through action like this. After all it’s the different cultures of the world that make us who we are.
