  33.  @John-fk2ky  it really is that! The "divine truth" is what people have coined "God" this was manipulated for control back when, you teach the teaching for people to live by and every one follows suit. Since then its become a HUGE business. The ability to instinctively know if something is good or bad has been sold as "Gods" word removing you from the equation, forcing you the believer to take the word of a scholar over your own ability to decern right from wrong. If there was a One true God, entity there would be an overwhelming instinct of this being and many people would simply know. The fact that you need to read a book and be taught storys to enlighten you to this omnipotent all powerful being is ridiculous. "I actually can't think of a single religion that says "our way is naturally obvious"." they are not that's the point. You have to be indoctrinated into the system inorder to accept it. You can'y accept Jesus and then that's it.. you need the Bible and its teaching to qualify. same with Muslims, Jews and all the others you have to have the indoctrination of the story to give it meaning. Whereas Spiritualitys like Drudisum, Hinduisum and a like were more focused on worshiping the forces of nature as their own induvidual things. Rain, wind, fire the trees oceans the animals ect this requires no teaching merely living for x amount years would expose you to all the seasons and things that nature throws at you inorder to get the understanding of where you live. so you praay and worship the entitys of those things that you need to for a better future (weather this makes any difference or not is irrelevant, is like walking back from the shop saying "please don t rain" looking at the black cloud). this led to different villages haveing different names for the same thing, ultimately naturally and without years of study and memorisation everyone would be right there on the same page. So if there were to be a one true "god" we would all instinctively just know. this would grey the lines between all the religions we have as they would all be talking about the same "God" just in different ways. They don't! You my friend have missed the mark and have spent to much time in books and not living with that what you are telling me I am wrong of.

  34.  @YahwehisGodandYeshuaisKingiamr  I had no bad experiences with any religion. I have just grown up and spent 30+ years surrounded by every religion. This shows me one thing very clearly that none of them are right. Everyone preaches that their god is the one! but this simply cannot be true. Its the translation of things that happen that people call acts of God! The problems starts with people pushing "god" on others. this is very negative in its base form, the books are as vague as can be so as to leave room for interpretation. Just like every passage you pasetd above. you said nothing of substance just a lot of " if this then that" this is not proof! these are the walls of the prison we create for our selfs as we don't want to take responceablilty for our own actions. we don't give out selves credit for the things in out lives that have benefited us. The religious pass that on to a "god" this is self depricating and beliteling of the self. Its like making a mistake and then blaming the evil and not you for simple lacking in judgement and accepting that you have things to learn. instead getting lost in books and reading from others instead of living you life for you. so long as you are happy live your life. as no amount of pasted passages from a book that say nothing will convert anyone with substance. If you find comfort in the words, enjoy them. they are not your life they are just a story that can bring comfort in time on confusion. You control your outcome not some fictional "god" or "Devil" you are both and we choose to embrace the one that relates to us the best! I have read all the books personally. this is important as just reading one is bias.

  85.  @grotesquehead322  I never once said that I am pro-life/pro-choice! You presumed my stance. The difference with plants is they flourish when pruned as their "LIFE" can be nourished and cared for and grown with care to flourish for us to eat without ever removing the entire plant. Language creates a good separation for the types of life, you pick veg and flowers, you kill animals and humans. People who scream from the rooftops about life and how you have to value it are also the same people being selective what life they want to scream about. its become trendy to be pro-life by the same people who eat meat and dont want to see the standards of how the animals they are eating are kept and processed. I stoped eating a lot of meat after going to work in farms that produced the food I was eating, it put me off. (i'm not a vegan) The teen moms and crack heads getting preggers for some extra state benefits need to be aborted asap for the sake of the child's entire life and for the people working their asses off to contribute taxes to pay for them. Thjat one life that gets kept puts a strain on so many more. is that a good exchange? A nice couple who find them selfs preggers yes keep it %100. They should have either being more responsible in the first place if they didn't want a child or accept that situation they are now in. The accidental baby! was it forced as a bargaining chip to create/save a relationship? abort asap! this is a terrible environment to raise a child! Living like with context and balance is way better than just outright being pro-life because you want to be part of some group to feel like you belong to something bigger than you self is disgusting! "In reality, pro-lifers believe that the conservation and protection of human life is sacred" It's a concept that, that individual holds. "considering it to be the highest order of life" again chosen viewpoint. Life is life weather its plant, animal, insect or human and making an informed choice in each situation is always the best.
