Today .,.. I am asking the question to myself .... why the Polish pilots were taking the RISK, fighting effectively for the British sky in the Battle of Britain ?? The output for their and other Polish soldiers bravery, finally it was the British & American BETRAYAL of POLAND, during the Conference in Yalta !!!!

@terryscott2007 Germans immediately would have to stop or very much slow down their aggression in Poland and transfer their divisions and Luftwaffe power on the Western Front. The prommised French and British HELP - never came !!!! So ...., Polish Army was then fighting ALONE against three aggressors; Germany Slovakia & CCCP, up to the October 06th, 1939 !!!!

From 1938 Russian Red Army was in pieces, without valuable experienced commanders, thanks to the political cleansing in the Red Army officers corps of being ordered by comrade STALIN and being done & executed by the brutal political NKVD forces !!! In September 17th , 1939, the Soviets could later joint "fighting" .... to attack the Eastern territory of the Republic of Poland, as a third party ONLY !!!!
