Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was a source of European Democracy ..... because it created in a real life the FIRST written and officialy proclaimed Constitution in Europe called > Konstytucja 3-go Maja < from the year of 1791 - which was the second proclaimed Constitution in World, after the North American ONE !!!! These days, some western european countries they are trying to teach Poles about "DEMOCRACY" , about what it is and how it suppose to work the best !!!! > Whata JOKE :o)) When the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was already based on a kind of the democratic structures, the rest of the European countries like Britain, Germany, Belgium, etc. they were still absolute monarchies !!!! < No kidding !!!! :o))
