  1. To: Jose_Jose <> In my city, they switched from orange glowing HPS lamps to those cheap LED lamps !!!! It is just TERRIBLE when I am driving during the night .... LED bright and intensive spotlight is BLINDING my eyes in a particular place of every passing street lamp !!!! LED lamp bad back defusers' designs are not calculating something which in lighting technology is called: "angle 2 alpha 0.5 degrees" > which is also known as an "angle of the eye safety". Otherwise, the source of light, suppose to be located at a particular depth and angle inside defuser, to NOT to blind your eyes of seeing the source of it (bulb) directly by your eyes !!!! The street lamps defusers for HPS operation in 99% cases they are designed very well and just perfect. That is why HPS sodium street lights are not blinding you from the distance, or when you passing them, at all !!!! CHEAP LED street lights do not give the shit about that problem, and it looks like a bunch of morons without any knowledge of lighting technics just designed them and other morons produce them in millions of pieces for the massive markets !!!! It is also another issue .... the ORANGE colour light produced by HPS street lamps is much better cutting through the heavy fog situation during the night !!!! LED performance is very poor, even if it delivers more brights !!!! SUCKS !!!! Overall .... as street lamps, HPS lamps are working much BETTER lightning street nicer and safer. It is a pleasant drive in the night when a street is in kinda soft orange lumination !!!!!!!!
