But if the scientific study of your medical condition results in evidence which shows that reduced stress colorates to a reduction of symptoms then that IS medicine. One of the best things I ever read about "alternative" medicine is this... There is no such thing. If something is proved to work. It's medicine. It's science. If it's proved not to work using science then it's not a medicine in any way. There is no such thing as an alternative medicine. If it worked. It would be medicine.

Your comment made me wonder. Why is it cults seem so common in America?

Being an engineer would be irrelevant. You'd need to be educated in the field. When you understand it and if you understand it would be down to the education you receive and your own ability

@willfire0310 interesting question but one I don't think there is a direct answer to. It will naturally be different in different countries. But here in the UK the university sets the course and the work the students will do. So a direct comparison between different fields is hard enough within one university. Let alone across different instructions. Your best bet would be to contact the university that your interested in reading at and ask about the course and the workload you commit to as the learner.

Is that the tree of gondor.... I'm sold

We have this in the UK to. Someone who makes false claims that cause harm can be prosecuted. I don't know of any cases. But I'm sure if needed the law would be applied.

Isn't that why people in countries without a national health service have medical insurance? Don't the insurance companies pay the bill? Genuinely curious, I'm lucky enough to live in the UK where my healthcare doesn't cost me at access (obviously I pay towards it in tax just like I do the police, armed forces and education)

I thought he said intranet but it was obvious he meant internet and it is a quirk of accent.

What are you basing these statements on?

@midori_the_eldritch that's difficult to read. But my question was based on: why do you think that with lots degrees and xyz intellect that you can somehow cure illnesses? I don't understand how that is a thing

@midori_the_eldritch 'you would need several degrees to do energy healing'.... I don't understand how you can do 'energy healing' regardless of education level. So I would like to know what you base that statement on.
