Enjoy your manual! It's a dieing breed in the world. In the UK we have a separate test for autos and as I understand it more and more people are passing an auto test (meaning they can't drive a manual. It's illegal). I've never had an automatic car. In 16 years on the road. When I do drive one It feels so strange. What your used to I guess!

My only negative comment is that it's an accelerator not gas :p come on man your English.

@ConquerDriving seriously? Good god. Please don't tell me you have to tell your students the engine is under the hood? Ironically my background is in engineering and I'm a self employed mechanic/fabricator. In all my training I was taught never ever to call petrol gas. It invites confusion and when you are talking about an inert gas (like argon) Vs a fuel like petrol or even brake cleaner/machine cleaner. It's kinda of important not to mix them up. 😂

@ConquerDriving sorry random question. If your teaching In an electric car. Do you then have to say gas? 🤔 Genuine curiosity :)

@Stallzyx when I teach I power. But that's track driving not learner drivers. I was taught with "throttle". It may take a third of a second more to say. But I'm not sure that's critical 🤣. I did my driver's test 15 ish years ago and my bike test 2 years ago. Both used. "Throttle"
