So that's now 12million nearly (adjusted for inflation). Also.... How did they have a website in the 1950s?

Bravo. Bravo to this comment..... Fun fact. Here in the UK the increased load on the electric grid of late is making coal fired electric power stations economically viable for the first time in what 30-40 years. AHH green energy..... I mean black isnt that different to green right?

Can't tell if this is sarcasm or not 🤔

I hope this is a joke. If not, please see a doctor. Unreasonable paranoia can be a sign of a mental health disorder. There's nothing to be ashamed of.

That may be true in your country..it's not in the EU I can promise that. Here in England we have very strict laws on how long a driver can drive. No way are they doing that in a day. Not that they could given our population per square kilometre and road system etc. Ironically our large goods vehicles may be able to range of elecric trucks. But our trucks can't be more than 44 and a half tons. Which they all are. Now that's an archaic measurement which I assume will be turning into metric soon. But the point is it's not just legislation that makes that the largest trucks can be..... Our roads can't take more. As it is our large goods vehicles have to stop outside our cities to unload and let small vans take over as our cities roads were laid out over a thousand years ago (other than the ones the Germans helped us rearrange). Does this mean e trucks are more or less Likley here? I don't know. But there is a point for saying that if said trucks are confined to limited charge points and limited routs because they have to be bigger to work. Then you've just reinvented a less efficient train.

I agree here. But In a different way. The driver is probably Joe bloggs who normally drives miles a day. He's been asked to drive a truck he may not be familiar with. Onto a stage. Infront of a huge audience. And it's being recorded for TV/the internet. I have been riding motorbikes my whole life. I recently did a test where I did an emergency stop where I genuinely was embarrassed by my performance and I was just human nerves knowing I was being judged. So I think i agree with your sentiment and sadly think this video was being... Disappointing in using this as some kind of proof of anything at all. You just can't use such a small sample of anything that includes human fallacy in something you claim to be scientific. I still think the overall theme of the video is spot on

You have the same issue as electric cars. Unless you have nuclear power for when it's not sunny/windy. Then your still getting the energy from fossil fuels

Irony is, in the UK if you don't move to the inside lane after overtaking. Your braking the law and can be fined. Tho in fairness if I was driving on the opposite side of the road to what I'm used to. With cars around me twice the size of what I'm used to. I'd probably fail in a similar way 😂

It does the same about other conspiracy stuff. Like sovereign citizen loonacy

It comes from ancient greek. Meaning to limit a circle. Obviously the meaning has changed over the course of 3 or 4 thousand years. But that's the etymology.

Well I'll never listen to WotWs again without seeing Elon musk... Sigh

Telescopes. If you've never been to an observatory I would highly recommend it. Being able to view the galaxy is incredible. Also, a fair number of well educated and intelligent people have determined the distance to stars. They're done so for hundreds of years. Technology has helped refine the process and of course the process of peer review helps constantly refine knowledge. It's all really cool.
1
Your daily commute is 8 seconds, dam. Do you use a teleporter?

I'm not sure smart is the right word. I mean he doesn't sound like someone who's intelligent, well read or informed.
1
I assume this is a joke. But I don't get it....
1
Isn't that the point? You make something entertaining. People watch it and are entertained and the creator of the entertainment reaps a financial reward?
1
Do you understand how science works?
1
Ok but there are 9 billion people on the planet. Your going to have to give me a hint on where this jesus guy is. Also. Does he think the earth is flat?
1
I'm guessing English isn't your first language. Which is fair enough. But that's not an excuse for not learning in general. I'm sure you can take maths and science classes in your native tongue. It's worth considering instead of just repeating what conspiracy nuts say on YouTube.

Ok. Jokes about America being backward because; imperial units aside. You can buy a sextant in the local shops there? Wow. My local store hasn't stocked them since... Oh 1805 or so.

Oh dear

I don't know if it's the lack of punctuation, or the words that are confusing me. But.... What?

There is a reason EM does his launces in the USA. Because American crowds make everything elevtantee-million times more exciting and shouting. This... Isnt just a musk thing. But his crowds are right up there with your political rallies. Maybe stop screaming and start listening to the substance of speakers. Just an idea.

That's why science is a methodology that refines results until you come to an objective conclusion. Hence all scientific evidence shows the world to be the shape it is. There is no agenda. Anyone saying they don't accept that 'model' just hasn't understood the evidence and the process used to come to the conclusion. Yes, getting that level of education involved effort. But it's not that hard. And importantly it doesn't involve using YouTube as an information source.

Oh I see what you did there. Because fish don't have feet. That's funny.
1
I mean as long as when all of society collapses, the roads are still well maintained and it never rains 😂
1
Dam, easy to forget that the USA and Myanmar are the only places on earth where metric doesn't work 😂 Must be terrible
1
Who are you on about? If you mean the flat earth guy and thunder foot. They don't sound remotely similar 🤔.
1
How does this tool have 10m people who believe he knows something about science? He's a poster child for the us educational system.
1
Might have come with the rental car?

What is it with scams and nonsense stuff making a point of telling us how old the "genius" is. Is it a phycological trigger to con people or something.
1
I'd love to see musk do one of these launches in England. He could claim the truck would turn iron to gold and bring you to orgasm at the same time. And we'd not give applause on qué. We'd just raise and eyebrow and say.... Really?... Now random colleague who's joined me here. Have you tried the scones? Bloody hate scones. Why couldn't they give us some decent food before this nonsense? And it's raining. Shall we leave early and go for a beer?
