  1. Have to disagree. At least outside the USA. The effort and expense that the royal navy and RAF put into makeing weapons smaller is amazing. The RN had been trying to make guns smaller for 500 years before this gun was designed.

  2. Wouldn't the steam punk version of this be the grandson? After all. Steam punk is based on the era of steam. So anything that's "steam punk" by definition comes many years (decades/centuries) after.
