Over the last 100 years, Republicans have stood up for African Americans while Democrats not only stood on the sidelines, but in fact served as obstructionists to civil liberties. Here are at least 12 examples in which Democrats voted against African Americans, and Republicans voted to free them: Democrats voted against every piece of civil rights legislation in Congress from 1866 to 1966 – a whopping 100 years. That is a dismal record for today's Democrats who would like you to believe that history has been on their side on this issue. It hasn't. Democrats voted to keep Africans Americans in slavery, opposing the 13th Amendment which officially freed the slaves. Only four Democrats voted for it. Republicans also passed the 14th Amendment which granted slaves U.S. citizenship; Democrats voted against it. Republicans also passed the 15th Amendment which gave slaves the right to vote. Not a single one of the 56 Democrats in Congress voted for it. Shame on them. Furthermore, Republicans passed all of the Civil Rights laws of the 1860s — including the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the Reconstruction Act of 1867 following the Civil War. The Republican Party itself was founded as the "anti-slavery party" in 1854. The party subsequently gave us President Abraham Lincoln and ultimately, the Emancipation Proclamation which led to the liberation of slaves. Republicans supported African Americans not only in the 1800s, but in modern times as well. In the 1960s, with the exception of Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson, who was instrumental in the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act in the wake of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the truth is that Democrats were the largest single blockade to civil rights. But don't take my word for it. Long after slavery was over, the Democratic Party continued down their path to deny African Americans their rights. Wikipedia refers to this as the era of "disenfranchisement" when "Democrats worked to exclude blacks" from civil liberties. PBS reported, "The Democratic Party identified itself as the 'white man's party' and demonized the Republican Party as being 'Negro dominated,' even though whites were in control." The Democratic Party was responsible for passing Jim Crow laws, in addition to Black Civil Codes that forced Americans to utilize separate drinking fountains, swimming pools, and other facilities in the 20th century. Even Democratic icons such as Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil Rights Act while in the U.S. Senate. Sen. Al Gore, Sr., D-Tenn., also opposed it. But you don't hear the "antifa" movement or anyone else on the Left talking about Democrats' shameful involvement in American history, nor do many speak of Republicans' brave work on behalf of African Americans. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a Republican, appointed Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren who penned the Brown v. Board of Education decision that ended school segregation forever. It was also a Republican, Sen. Everett Dirksen from Illinois (the "Land of Lincoln"), who wrote numerous pieces of legislation including the Civil Rights Act of 1968 which banned discrimination in housing. It was Republican President Richard M. Nixon who introduced the "Philadelphia Plan" that serves as the blueprint for affirmative action today. It was Republican President Ronald Reagan who in 1984 signed into law the holiday now known as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. That's right, these were Republicans — not Democrats. As more "antifa" protests are expected this summer and into the fall, leading up to their night of hell planned for November 4, it is vitally important that revisionist history is not permitted to be foisted upon Americans. The truth about who was on the right side of history and who was in the wrong lies in the voting records and those records lie in the National Archives and the Library of Congress. No amount of statue-toppling nor spin from the Left can ever erase it.

That being said..the Left is actively trying to destroy America, our way of life, our Constitution and to install Socialism. They are truely "enemies, both foreign and domestic". A bag of bleeding meat laying on the pavement, or dangling limply from a street light...its outside of their belief system. YouTube is filled with videos of them getting punched in the face..and running like little bitches for other locals. They simply cannot understand that before long..it wont be punches..but a good stiff load of buckshot coming their way and considering the light dimming as they bleed to death..isnt in their world view. Its actually quite sad...but it may..may become inevitable. This last election..the voter fraud that is turning up...is simply their last gasp attempt to keep control..and its only going to be putting thousands of them in prison for 2-5 yrs and leave them with a felony conviction for life. Not to mention...the hardcore cons are going to be having a lot of pleasure with them...brrrr. I hope the Civil War ver2.0 doesnt happen..but if it does...we will..will..will make a clean sweep of them an their handlers...and mothers will weep all across this land. But..they will have thousands of basements to rent out.

A know a lot of Democrats who are very conservative and are only Democrat because their family history is Democrat. @notosure2148 You seem to be following the Liberal Propaganda. The reason a lot of money goes to Red states..is many/most red states have military bases, factories and whatnot based in them. Its hardly due to "welfare". Also included are military retirees who live in Red States. They get their pensions sent there..hence red states are hardly a "drain" on the blue states. Btw..the Blue states are taxed at astonishingly high rates to pay for their own welfare state.

China has a large "military" but it has zero ability to get its troops to the US. Russia has a much smaller military..and they are way too smart to try to get their troops to the US. China would lose millions of troops in a matter of days..which would be good for China. Russia would lose millions as well..which would destroy Russia. When the nukes fall on the Three Gorges Dam and destroy it...it will flood the entire Yangtze Valley, kill 100 million Chinese, destroy a significant amount of Chinese industry and technology, along with most of their military manufacturing and navel forces and likely put China back into a land filled with the starving , the dead and dying and could well return China to a feudal society within 20 yrs, But hey...if thats what you want...shrug.

The military has more than its fair share of very well trained college grads and then we have the Left...who tends to have majored in such important classes as "One Legged Transsexual Womans Studies" and "Orgasms, do you really need them 101" Which of course is far more important than engineering, electronics, maintainance and so forth. @Scout339th there are an estimated 400-600 MILLION privately owned firearms in the US. What I find interesting..in addition there are 350,000 registered automatic weapons...with an additional estimated 600,000 unregistered automatic weapons in the US. They were sold in Sears and every hardware store up to 1934..lots came in via returning soldiers since 1918..all the way to today.

Foreign nations will not have the capability to send big enough forces to the US to seize those weapons. Blue helmets worn by foreigners make really good targets when on American soil. You would have not just the military killing them..but the population itself may not leave enough left FOR the military to decimate.

The South was a largely agrarian society with little actual manufacturing..which the North pushed for, as hard as they could. Which is why most manufacturing was in the North. Today...not so similar. And in fact..most of the military manufacturing AND Storage is in the Red states. Now this is not..not a North South thing..its a Left/Right thing. I further more would suggest that the military will lose large elements of its infrastructure as those troops and their COs..simply step aside from the destruction of the very people they are sworn to remove in their oaths..."enemies both foreign and domestic". If said troops were fired on..they will likey fire back..so those terminating the Left would have to be especially careful not to target or injure a group of troops. "There is no voter fraud" has been a Dem mantra despite thousands of Dems being convicted of voter fraud every election cycle..not to mentioni the huge numbers of fraudulant votes generally from Dems.
