  1.  @rethguals  The housing costs and fuel cost in both NY and California require high wages simply to live. Move to just about any other midwest or southern state and while the wages are smaller.. your overhead is a hell of a lot smaller so you actually can make more disposable income. Lots of people dont understand this and it shows.

  11.  @badasscrusader  If the ground invasion had happened in Japan, it would have resulted in 1.5 Million allied deaths, and the eradication of the Japanese race. The 2 atomic bombs dropped on Japan saved their race from extinction and the lives of 3 million allies, when you consider not just the deaths, but the wounded. It would have been total genocide. The Allies were not playing and neither were the Japanese. Japan would be the single largest grave yard on the planet.
