  10. An aquaintences son was shot with a pump up BB gun. The BB entered his right eye, bounched around inside of his skull a few times and sliced and diced his brain irrepairably. They kept the kid alive on a machine so they could harvest his organs. NO matter what you believe you can do to make it all better.. nothing is going to work. If you believe it will, you are a fool of the worst type. The same thing has happened with motorcycles, arrows, rope swings, automobiles and stairs. Now if you want to teach gun safety in school every year.. Id agree with you. When I was growing up on a military reservation with live ranges, we were taught what explosives were, what NOT to do with them, what dud mortor rounds were etc etc. Few if any kids got hurt. It was the tourist who came to visit the area that would find a dud 80mm mortor round, stick it in the car and then when they got home fuck with it using a hammer. Bad things would then happen. Adding a charger port for her fingerprint scanner equipped handgun means that you are going to have to plug in your handgun every couple hours, because there is no room in a handgun for the battery... not counting the associated electromechanical devices needed to prevent an unauthorized user to firing it. Why not require all the law enforcement and government agents test this out for say.. the next 5 yrs and see if any issues arise.
