@i_nameless_i-jgsdf I work in manufacturing in the US. I repair metalwoking machinery. Lathes..mills..drills etc. There are very few American made machinery of these types. Everything was offshored. American companies were gutted by investing jackles..and their own stupidity thinking they didnt have to evolve and change with the technology. Brown and Sharp? Where are they? Acme-Gridley? Etc etc. We are Still a technological powerhouse.. With all of our best designs built overseas and for the biggest profit margins possible. But these Chinese and Indian kids are taking our designs..adding smaltz to them..selling them in our markets and eating our lunch. The economic disparity is one of the biggest killers. In China..a family of 4 can eat very well for 5 bucks a day. You cant even buy a burger in the US for 5 bucks. Yet we still send em dollars. Think they could buy a stick of gum for a fist full of yen?

@markmitchell450 Chinese vehicles may be junk..but their metal working machinery is very very good. Once you get beyong the Harbor Freight type of lathes, mills and drill presses and are in actual indusrial quality...the hardware becomes very good.

@PanzerLehr88 ROFLMAO!! We at best.. like the German troops, and hold their worn out gear and equipment in disgust. A note: Americans kept Europe from killing each other off in job lots since 1945. Isnt it about time the Euros learn to do this themselves? Pre 1945... every 10-20 yrs.. Euro would murder each other off in job lots, going back to the Roman times. It took a small nation of Isolationists to end WW1, to rebuild most of Europe, And to do it AGAIN in WW2.. and again to rebuild Europe after that war... and to keep the Russians from making your national languages Russian. It wasnt your ability to wage war or even defend yourselves that destroyed the USSR in 1991. It was America. And how much territory did we claim in Europe after our sons died freeing your nations through 1945? Zero. Well... not counting the American cemetaries all over Europe, where our sons were laid to rest. So some of you pissants have either never learned.. or hate that you lads have been an Also Ran in keeping Europe free and open. And NOT speaking Russian. We dont want or need your respect.. but a Thank You would have been nice now and then. Be thankful we didnt raze Germany and salt the earth after removing Herr Schiclegrubber and his gang of thugs. Its not like you have a clean history....

@Marcg-b4n Shrug... the Russians stole tech from America and other nations since the 1920s. China has been doing it only for the past 20 or so years.
