Is it still a bad idea for an Indian guy to try to even initiate conversation with foreign women who are expats? I am a 23 year old guy living in Bangalore in India but born in Siliguri in West Bengal in India and never had a girlfriend before. No Indian woman has ever been interested in me and even my crush in my University where I am studying MBA isn't into me. As Bangalore is a big metropolitan city and IT hub of India, foreigners like whites, Africans and East Asians do come here as expats. I went to this really posh area of our city and even tried initiating conversation with expat women there who are usually white Caucasian women but got ignored as they either had earphones or didn't look at me. Yesterday I again tried initiating conversation with another one walking on the sidewalk. She looked 27+ in age and I said her excuse me and she even looked at me but I suddenly became nervous and waved my hand at her instead and then she continued walking too so couldn't have a conversation. I am still kinda shy near women but I did have a brief conversation with a French woman near my University 2 years ago but I never saw her again. I am also going to this nearby coastal city Pondicherry for trip where I will see foreigners too but it will just be a 3-4 days trip and they will mostly be tourists too. I am kinda planning to go near this big University in our city Bangalore where many international students come too mostly for MBA. I will try to meet a foreign woman there in cafes or restaurants around. But idk whether it will be a good idea or not but at least most of them will be in their 20s too and around my age and I will have a more common topic to initiate conversation about as I am also an MBA student like them. What do you think?
