I am a 21 year old guy and I never had a girlfriend or even my first kiss yet. After having no luck with 2 girls in my college and 2 girls whom I knew since my high school days and also no luck on dating apps, finally 3 days ago, a girl matched with me on one of the dating apps and for the first time, I had a decent chat with a girl on dating app without getting ghosted. She is a 19 year old girl and for the past 3-4 days, the chats were decent enough. We live in the same city but different college and different course too. Do you think this time I will at least get my first kiss? I also get worried thinking what if she ends up ghosting me too or wouldn't want me.

@samgaming0626 btw what's your opinion about a 22 year old dating an 18/19 year old girl if both are in college? Like I said I turned 22 recently and I like a girl in my college who is 18 turning 19 next month.

@samgaming0626 it wasn't a relationship. She rejected me horribly after I asked her out and insulted me. I turned 22 just 8 weeks ago and still no girlfriend.

Is it still as much of a problem at 22? I am a 22 year old guy who never had a girlfriend before, never even kissed or hugged a girl in real life. I got rejected by 3 girls very recently(I got rejected by 7 girls so far in total). I got blocked by 2 of them on Instagram after I asked them out and they were in the same school as me too and one of them who is 19 turning 20 in August even agreed to meet up but blocked me after few days. Today I tried asking out another girl who is 20 and she too was in the same school as me and we had been chatting on Instagram for 2-3 months but she too rejected me saying that I am nice but she isn't comfortable with meeting up with me so we can't meet up and she unfollowed me on Instagram. But there is still some hope as I also asked out my childhood friend who is 21 now turning 22 after 3-4 months and I genuinely like her too and we used to be very close friends when we were both in elementary school but she isn't that active on Instagram so she still didn't see or reply to my message yet. I am still waiting for her reply and I am honestly expecting a positive reply but idk.

@samgaming0626 why are you calling me an elder? 3 year age gap is nothing when both are adults and we are both so close in age and match in maturity. The age gap would have been problematic if it was a 25 year old dating an 18 year old because 25 year olds have been out of college for few years and working whereas I am 22 and still a student just like her. I am just her senior in college. 22 year old dating an 18/19 year old is normal as they are all college age.

@samgaming0626 yeah I understood what you meant by calling me an elder. It just surprises me how 5+ years ago, I was a kid compared to 18 year olds as I was a minor and 18 year olds used to call me kids whereas now at 22, I am 4 years older than 18 year olds. It surprises me that I am even older than 20 year olds by 2 years. Even the fact that I am a year older than 21 year olds kinda makes me feel surprised at times. At least I am still younger than 25 year olds but it will change after 3 years.
