  1. Don't be so sure. Things change fast. I'm in Maine. Over the pandemic, the crazies came, they gentrified us so fast over the past 3 years, it's like we are now Massachusetts! It's completely different now. Kids cannot play outside because these crazies call the cops, they think the kids are abandoned. My property tax almost doubled. You better hope it doesn't happen to you. Oh yeah, you are part of the problem, you are new there!

  5. I agree, when I was a young teenager, there were two adults that made a huge difference in my life (that were not my immediate family). One was a neighbor a couple of houses down, who was a senior lady, a friend of my grandmother's. She was always very positive and would tell me how beautiful I was (I wore glasses and braces at the same time) and I didn't feel beautiful at all. I had a difficult upbringing. She helped me out a lot and helped me feel brave when times were difficult.

  12. There are members of extreme political parties, that will call the police, if you let your kids play in your own yard (!!), as if the child has been abandoned or something! I'm not talking about a young child, either. This happened to a friend of mine and the child was in 5th grade. People are nuts! There was no problem!? We are in a rural area.

  14. The point is to avoid any bank that is using western central banks. All banks in the US, Canada, any country on the Euro, and a lot of other countries rely on central banks (BIS). Avoiding this, is the key.
