  5. Love all the travel props! I seem to remember seeing a WEF agenda schedule and cutting out flights was on the list. This is not "health" or "lack of pilots". It is most definitely an agenda. Lots of viewers are crew or think they know people, I am former flight crew myself. 13 years ago, pilots were retiring at that time and aging out. It was THEN, not now. They had loads of young pilots (FA's) hired and more in schools.

  6. I have a 21 year old car. I have NOT had this "additional maintenance". Of course, I do maintenance. But things certainly do not go down on the car constantly. It runs great, drives great, no problems. I think it is a complete foolhardly thing for people to buy new cars every 3-5 years like they do. But let them keep doing it, It keeps them in debt. Then people like myself are debt free. I'd been planning to get a newer car 3 years ago except car prices skyrocketed. Meanwhile, my current car had no problems.. I keep driving it. It's great.

  8. I'm a landlord, obviously I require proof of income among other things to rent. In any case I provide housing to traveling nurses. My latest nurse has proven income of $2600USD per week. Two thousand, six hundred USD per week. I'd encourage travel nursing if you can do it. You'll pay off your bills in a very tough economy where you want to be debt free. Not to mention, travel to interesting places you might not otherwise see. I'm in a resort area of Maine.

My father was not good at running the stove, he was a total idiot with smoking up the house constantly. I haven't been in a house running wood in over 30 years and I still have asthma so obviously it has nothing to do with it. I seriously doubt the parents "treating" their children with wood stoves have merit. Instead they should have their children playing outside in the dirt and away from electronics.

Prepare flour, instant potatoes (do you have that?) and other dry goods for long term storage with mylar bags and oxygen absorbers. Make more storage area for food by using areas under beds, put tinned food behind books on bookcases, try to utilize all spaces you can. Clear out closets and put in shelving.

Additionally, in the early 90's, institionalized mental health was shut down, so those people are out on the street homeless, and often taking up hospital beds and jails. More Keynsian economics. No one is selling anything at the farmers markets because everything washed out. House foundations are caving in due to soft grounds and flooding. Usually we have a little rain in May.   90. There's more to this, too. What do you think about the CPS/DHHS program? Most everyone who has heard of it hates it. This program also arranges foster care, which pays people to care for children in homes. Often these homes sit high on the hog with multiple foster kids, they don't work, getting that government money and not caring well for the kids. Before this not so great program, there were better programs in place that worked better for kids that needed temporary or long term housing.

  102. US here. As an accountant, Americans have no idea how much they are taxed. They might be thunderstruck by the UK's 45% tax rate, but depending on the US state they live in, they could be taxed far more than 45%. Supposidely you are only to be taxed once according to the Constitution, yet then there is the state tax, then there is the 5.5% purchase tax (in my state, some are higher) that you pay on anything you buy- grocery store to clothing, restaurant tax is even higher, lodging tax is higher than that. Forget about gas tax and smokes and liquor, you'll pay a dear tax for that! Also, most have health insurance through an employer, not a tax, but many countries consider that part of what you are paying for in your tax rate, but Americans are paying a thousand dollars or more a month PER PERSON for health insurance. The taxes are endless and will add up to a confusing Robin Hood amount that no one could reasonably add up!

Landlords converted rentals to Section 8, this housing has mile long waitlists, regular people do not apply.   164. I am in northern Maine. My tomatoes are still outside, no problem yet. Last year I kept them out as long as possible and I did start them late, and what I did (last year) was I ended up picking them all green, I lined a crate with newspaper, put it down cellar, covered it with newspaper. The idea is to keep it cool, try to keep the air inside so the ripening enzymes will ripen the other green tomatoes, this worked perfectly. I canned 3 batches, in stages, of various tomatoes, they were wonderful, the last at the end of November!!! Lots of tomato and mayo sandwiches! Yum! I look forward to doing the same this year.

  166. The terrible thing about this, is that the US could have taken a different tactic entirely. For example, Putin did an amazing job (no really, he did) when sanctioned by the US. Within 3 days, he moved Russia to the gold standard. Then he arranged a deal (OPEC2) to funnel OPEC's oil to Russia and right away from the US. The US could have regained trust by moving to the gold standard, or AT LEAST by stopping dumb spending outside the US and saving resources to it's people.

I should say that I've been following the Dave Ramsey program for a few years now, and he is anti- debt so he recomments getting rid of all credit cards so I haven't had any although I do have a mortgage so I still have a credit rating... for now. In any case, I was hospitalized and put on pred multiple times gasping for air and really, albuterol didn't really help that much. In the early 2000's I was put on Advair discus 500, they also have 250, that made a huge difference in my life. They have a generic for it now. I think the discus type of inhaler might "please" your doctor, but if you don't need to be on a daily medication other than albuterol maybe you don't need a steriod? Just an idea. They have loads of meds like this. They also have oral types that I tried but they didn't do much for me, and they stay in your system more than inhaled medications.

Watch expiration dates (dry food), and if possible, you may be able to put some dry food in the freeze to prevent it from spoilage due to its oil content. Canned/tinned you don't have to worry about expiration so much, so even if they are used to dry, you can stock up on the more expensive tinned as a backup. Also, check with vets for homemade cat food recipes, it's good to have the recipes on hand, although it may be difficult to obtain the ingredients, no harm in at least having the recipe.

Additionally, farmers here in the US are planting 50% of normal crops (in the central US) , due to a variety of reasons, including: drought, lack of parts to repair machinery, lack of fertilizer, high diesel costs, lack of propane, and more. They aren't planting in the western US, California due to extreme drought.

Men might make gifts of wood, such as a rocking chair for wives, or a sled for a boy. It was not commercialized, until more recently. How much more special would it be, if it were like back then? Thoughful gifts, specially made for the recipient?

In my fight FOR (in favor of) global warming, I have been running my straight pipe muscle car almost year round, instead of just to car shows, and I have also been just leaving it running at idle in driveway (locked) as I sleep overnight. I have 3 of these cars, so I have been working pretty hard at this. Now, this is not my total effort. I have been running EVERYTHING in my house at the same time, and being in northern Maine, I have been running heat with the windows open, for maximum effort.   420. My theory is that it's taking longer to transport. In the US, produce in the grocery like fruit and vegetables is already spoiled and showing rot. Most times we can't even buy fruit and vegetables. Except for my garden, I haven't had any fruit or vegetables at all (from the stores) since early to mid 2020. I am very far north, so in the winter, there is none except for my root cellar and what I've canned, or dried.
