  2. My friend, who has lived off the state her whole adult life, and maybe it started because of this. She got a horse when we were in our early 20's. It cost her more to board it than it cost me for my apartment. At that point she was not living off the state yet, she was in college still. Getting it was really short sighted. We are in our early 50's and it just got put down. They live a long time. It's a big decision, and a huge expense. That's before vet bills and food.

  3. I find it interesting how many youtube posts there are with nurses and RNs that brag about "I'm a nurse". 99% of us have at least a 4 year degree and nobody goes on about it. "I'm an accountant". Well, nurse, why didn't you have your hospital pay for your degree, which they all will do? Yes, you have to work there for a certain amount of time. You could have also joined the military. There are options, other than telling everyone on youtube, "I'm a nurse..."

  9. This is a very liberal mindset of the economic system, which I believe is due to how school teaches you now, and many government services there are. Ideally we should have a free market economy, which is how it used to be. If a person worked hard, you had a fair shot like anyone else. That's why people immigrated to the US.
