  1.  @Dolly351  I used to take care of dementia patients and really enjoyed it. I found that before they went through sundowning in the afternoons/evenings, they often reverted or remembered their teens/twenties, which was a lot of fun - they would remember and sing popular songs from that era - remembering every word of the song, or tell me stories that they wouldn't ordinarily remember, that I'm sure their families never heard. I have heard first hand historical accounts from depression era folks childhoods, early work life, courting their fiancee, and so on. If you can't appreciate this, you are definitely in the wrong line of work.

  3. 25 years ago, my doctor had me on seroquel, I was so drugged out, I wouldn't have heard a fire alarm if it had gone off.

  5. I would just like to say that telehealth does nothing for me for this. My longerm psychotherapist switched to telehealth during the pandemic and did not change back again to in person, and it's like fake therapy. Watching Youtube or something. Don't spend time or money on telehealth.

  6. Thanks for talking about this, I never heard of ketamine for depression. I am in a rural area and they just routinely give the same things over and over. They do not individually treat patients.
