  13. You haven't taken economics, have you? Supply = demand. If they can't pay their bills, they will liquidate the properties, or they will foreclose. it's quite simple. The market will delay the properties, as this happens, and the effect on tenants will be low supply, higher rent. It would be higher rent already, as existing landlords would already fear the scary tenant market. In my case, I'd rather let my properties sit empty than rent to anyone upcoming. lol

  18. Agree. Loved it when Sears and JCP had their catalogs. Ever since they stopped the catalogs, I bet their business drastically went down. It's not like their websites were fantastic. Sears especially had a terrible website, trying to mimic Ebay, selling wares from China on the Sears website is not the way to build trust from shoppers!

  31. I prefer cash. I brought back $196 in coins to the bank today in cash it helps the "coin shortage". If businesses have a problem giving change, they are required by law to round up to the nearest dollar. If you doubt me - look up your state's business laws!

  39. Yes, the economy is falling. The general public won't go back to work. They lack incentive. Not to mention, they won't pay rent, so mortgaged landlords are going to foreclose - what a mess. Not to mention the general public losers who won't go back to work, who own houses, that aren't paying their mortgage. And how about all the businesses that are closing? Who either can't find employees, or can't afford to stay open? WHAT A MESS! This is a false depression caused by the stimulus package.

You are obviously a bitter renter who can't climb out of their hole of debt. What a sad person you are. It takes a lot of hard work and saving money to get to the point of owning rental property. It's interesting that you make multiple posts trying to trash on other people, instead of working on yourself.

  50. I've been doing this for years. If you're REALLY smart, the building you choose is in a low cost area (not California). The building should cost less than $90,000. No, not per unit. For the whole building. Ready to go, not a foreclosure. Yes, there are LOTS of areas like this throughout the US.
