  2. My taxes just went up a lot. I have escrow built in, but because of the property taxes exploding, it went into an escrow shortage... I had to mail in a huge check to the mortage company's escrow department to cover the escrow shortage. Or the alternative is that the mortgage amount would go up significantly, but I get jollies from trying to keep the amount as close to the same as possible. If anyone doesn't understand this, it is a fixed rate.

  4. There are a lot of places for rent. In my area, there are for rent signs everywhere, yet the media and the local cities where the signs are, are screaming, more housing needed! Completely false.

  5. There used to be an app I used called Icebox I think, I used a chrome extension and I think they have it as a phone app. Settings that freezes your cart checkout, so can't spend on Amazon or wherever you impulse spend. You can set it for whatever time you want to freeze it.
